When she’s not spruiking her line of candy, Sharapova is a great tennis player and definitely one to watch in the 2014 championship.
Sure, we all need to create an income, but using her high profile as a sportsperson to sell sugary products seems a little ironic. Surely our kids are getting chubby enough, without the help of athletes selling them candy?!
For now though, we’ll focus on the excellent tennis that she is bound to be playing in Melbourne this year.
Bernard Tomic for a great year in 2014?
Do you think he now has the maturity to keep his behaviour under control and concentrate on his game?
We think it could be an exciting Australian Open if Tomic progresses beyond the first stage. We’ll just have to wait and see, especially after the shocking draw he has – Rafael Nadal! Eek!
The photo shows Tomic training during the tournament in 2012.
Roger Federer has arrived in Melbourne ready for the 2014 Australian Open and he is currently doing the rounds and keeping the sponsors happy in between training.
Last night saw him at the Moet & Chandon party at Crown in Melbourne, sporting a very nice dark suit and open neck white shirt – excellent choice sir!
Sure, he looked great, but we can’t wait to see him in his tennis gear making his opponents run all over Rod Laver Arena next week!
So, what do you think? Will Andy Murray take the Australian Open 2014 title or do think there is someone stronger?
Let us know your thoughts below!
